Privacy Policy

What information Cyprus Passion receives, why we use it and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

Cyprus Passion operates cypruspassion.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy requests can be sent to info@cypruspassion.com or by post to P.O. Box 25394, 1309 Nicosia, Cyprus.

Information you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you include. If you use the Get Featured form, we receive the business and contact details shown on that form, including your name, email address, phone number, business information, social profiles and message.

We use this information to answer your enquiry, evaluate the requested coverage or promotion, maintain a record of the conversation, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. The form requires your consent before it can be submitted.

How the enquiry form works

Get Featured submissions are sent to our business email through Resend, our email delivery provider. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes the web request. The request’s country may be included with the enquiry, and the connecting IP address may be used temporarily for rate limiting when that protection is enabled. The form does not create a public account or publish your details.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics with advanced Consent Mode. Before you choose, or if you reject analytics cookies, the Google tag loads with analytics storage denied and sends limited measurement signals to Google without reading or writing analytics cookies. These signals can include page URLs, timestamps, browser information and consent status, and may support aggregate measurement and modelling.

Accept enables analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_… . Reject keeps analytics storage denied. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing consent also removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. The site works whichever option you choose.

Legal grounds and retention

Analytics cookies require your consent. Limited cookieless measurement signals are sent as described above even without cookie consent; this does not mean that no data is processed. We handle enquiries because you asked us to respond and, where relevant, to take steps towards a business relationship. Security and abuse-prevention processing is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, business administration, dispute handling and legal obligations. Temporary rate-limit records expire automatically. Analytics retention is controlled in the Google Analytics property.

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal information. Our service providers include Cloudflare, Resend and Google Analytics. Google receives limited cookieless measurement signals without cookie consent and cookie-based analytics when you accept. These providers may process information outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area under their own safeguards and contractual terms.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Send a request to info@cypruspassion.com. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority.

Children and external links

The site is a general travel publication and is not designed to collect information from children. Articles may link to external websites; their privacy practices are controlled by their operators, not Cyprus Passion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the site or its providers change. The current revision date appears at the top.
