About the event
Kaimakli’s Synergasias Street becomes a shared space for art, performances and creative encounters at the 2026 Pame Kaimakli neighbourhood festival. Taking place on 24–25 October, the Urban Gorillas event explores collaboration through this year’s theme, [+]work-shops. According to the organisers, residents reshaped Synergasias Street along the old railway route in 1975. More than 50 artists contribute stories, sound works, performances and collective projects. The announced festival programme includes installations, creative workshops, theatre, dance and music performances, radio broadcasts, podcasts, an orientation game and a sensory walk. Individual sessions may have their own participation arrangements, so consult the latest programme before choosing an activity. The official September–October calendar also lists a separate launch with screenings and a community party on 21 October; that is a pre-festival event, not an extra day of the main 24–25 October edition. Daily opening hours and current admission conditions are not stated clearly on the organiser pages checked for this article. The official poster below confirms the 2026 dates and Synergasias Street. The accompanying editorial image shows an imagined scene of neighbourhood creativity, not an actual installation, participant or street layout.
