Event information

Date: Friday, 11 September 2026 – Sunday, 13 September 2026
Venue: Agioi Vavatsinias
Location: Agioi Vavatsinias, Larnaca District
Duration: Runs over several days

About the event

Faratsaina spreads across Agioi Vavatsinias rather than staying on a single stage. Visitors can join pottery, drawing, cooking and traditional-instrument workshops; see ttavas, battered courgette flowers, palouze and soutzoukos being prepared; and follow guided walking or cycling activities through the surrounding landscape. Folk dance, local art, a documentary and a literary evening share the programme with a concert honouring composer Manos Loizos, whose family roots are in the village.
