About the event
Kakopetria turns its village square into a showcase for glyko tou koutaliou, the fruit-and-nut preserves traditionally offered to guests with a glass of water or Cyprus coffee. Stalls present varieties made from walnut, quince, cherry, almond-filled fig, watermelon rind and bitter orange, alongside other local products. Traditional music, dancing and children’s activities add to the day, while free guided walks introduce the lanes and small museums of old Kakopetria. The festival runs from 11:00 to 19:00 on 27 September. No reliable official admission price has been published.
